Color My World

Do you have a favorite color?

Toys: Dress-up Trunk, Wooden Blocks, Kitchen dishes and wooden puzzles.

Circle Time:
We read a book that had a color on each page with images of items that color. We guessed which images we would see on the next color page. For example, we guessed a flower, orange, and a fish for the "orange" page.

Played "I Spy" Colors Game.  Lena spied purple, Anna spied pink on her shirt.  Ben spied green

We also learned the colors in a rainbow and then drew our own rainbows!

Snack: Animal Crackers

Recess:

Activities:

We read about the primary colors (and sang the song!) we learned that you can make the other colors using the primary colors. We then went and did it ourselves with fingerpaint!
